If you went up to a person on the street and asked them what an autoresponder was you would probably get a blank stare. As an internet marketer you may not be much smart. Are you using your unlimited automatic responder as many ways as you should. Let's see!

1. Let your autorepsonder guide people through your website. You can direct a visitor to other pages on your website or blog by putting related links in it. Then they can click on the link to your autoresponder and be sent an email with those various links.

Let you mind wander as you think of ways to get more traffic over and over. Many people like to read email and not spend time surfing. This will allow you to direct them to a specific page without them having to search all over your website.

2. Take some of your existing articles and create a email course using your autoresponder. Many of us waste our articles, or at the very least do not maximize them. An autoresponder is a simple way to keep your name in front of someone over and over with your articles. You could put a sign up form for various themes on certain pages of your website or blog and in doing so create lists for specific sections of them.

3. Keep in touch with people if you are involved in any programs. Many times we build the lists of our upline or the very program we represent, but we can not contact them personally ourselves. I do not mean emailing several thousand people one at a time.

I am talking about having a welcome email set up in an autoresponder and manually typing in the new member's name and email address. This is a quick way to follow-up as well to set them up for future follow-up by you.

4. Have special promotion web pages in your unlimited automatic responder. Access is only available after joining the autoresponder. You could offer discounts, graphics, free ebooks, or anything special outside of the normal stuff you promote.

5. Create a contest on your blog. Have you visitors post comments and then reward them via autoresponder. Everyone wins something, but the grand prize winner is only announced to the list.

In summary this is 5 ideas on getting more use of your unlimited automatic responder. This is only a few ideas. Years ago there was a saying that the person who rules the list rules the money."

This is still true today, but should even be expanded on. If you are not maximizing the way you use your unlimited automatic responder you are probably leaving money on the table. In the game of Internet marketing and email follow up that is a bad idea.
