There comes a point in your life when you really should not need to prove anymore if you know how to sell.

Start training other salespeople on what you do. If your sales trainees are successful, that means you are ready for this next step in your life.

If you have sold a lot of product and services or a long period of time, it will be much more to your advantage not put yourself back on the street. You would do well, but then you would not be training others for sales and helping them.

Of course, no one should be training other salespeople until you have proven yourself to be a good salesperson. Other salespeople will not respect your nor learn from you.

But, if you have take your time to develop a good sales history, there is no need to stay a single salesforce. You can instead multiply your efforts by taking on students for your methods of sales.

It is important that you continue to improve yourself and how to best teach your salespeople and provide the best techniques and tools for them.

After all, you really are still a salesperson, except now you are selling yourself, your services, your products, and your sales methods to your salespeople.
